Frequently Asked Questions

How many dual enrollment hours can I transfer in before being considered a “transfer student” as an incoming freshman?

Incoming freshmen can bring in any amount of dual enrollment and still be considered for freshmen scholarships.

How do I transfer my dual enrollment credit from a community college to UNA?

Request an official transcript from your dual enrollment institution to be sent to ugalert@record-room.com. The Office of the Registrar will evaluate course credit based on the course description to be applied as a direct equivalent, a major/minor elective, a core course, or a general elective. Students can review all course credit equivalence/transfer information here.
