'classically Jazzy' Holiday Concert With Una Brass Ensemble Set For Dec. 3

FLORENCE, Ala. - The University of North Alabama Department of Music and Theatre will present "A Classically Jazzy Holiday Event," featuring the UNA Brass Ensemble, at 7 p.m. Dec. 3 in Norton Auditorium. The UNA Brass Ensemble is under the direction of Dr. Eddie Elsey Jr., assistant professor of low brass.
The concert will include two special guest artists: Dr. Kristine Coreil, professor of horn at Northwestern State University, and Dr. Martin McCain, professor of trombone and low brass at Henderson State University. The show will also include players from Florence, Brooks, Rogers and Lexington high schools. The event is free of charge and is sponsored by Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia in partnership with the UNA Office of Student Engagement.
