Submissions For The 2015 George Lindsey Una Film Festival Are Now Being Accepted

FLORENCE, Ala. - The George Lindsey UNA Film Festival is now excepting submissions for 2015. The 18th annual Lindsey Film Festival is March 5-7 at the University of North Alabama in Florence.
Changes to this year's submission process include free submissions and a new submission platform, FilmFreeway. Filmmakers and screenwriters can submit their work for consideration at http://filmfreeway.com/festival/GeorgeLindseyUNAFilmFestival .
The George Lindsey UNA Film Festival accepts professional, student and young filmmaker films in the narrative, documentary and vanguard categories. The film festival was founded in 1998 by UNA alumnus and actor, the late George Lindsey. Lindsey's professional career included many roles such as the character Goober Pyle on "The Andy Griffith Show."
Previous guests at the festival include Oscar winners Billy Bob Thornton and Ernest Borgnine, Michael Rooker of "The Walking Dead, "Back to the Future" Writer/Producer Bob Gale as well as cast members James Tolkan and Claudia Wells, "Million Dollar Man" Lee Majors and veteran actor Rance Howard, among others.
